Economy

Everyone Deserves to Live in Dignity

Brittney Barlett believes that right now West Virginia's tax structure benefits corporations and out-of-state energy barons and not the small, local businesses we should be supporting. She knows that the center of our district, Weston, has declined because of this. But she also knows that this can be changed if we create a tax code that supports the average West Virginian and not the wealthy out-of-state business executives and landowners.

She knows we need stable jobs that pay a living wage and that initiatives like business incubators, the legalization of cannabis, and continued investment in alternative energy industries are avenues to achieving a future that works for all of our community members.

Without an economy working for all of us, our community can't survive - will you fight for it?
